Mill Roll Repair

Step 1: Remove the damaged roll from the production line.
Step 2: Separate the damaged portion of the NCCM Mill Roll cover from the undamaged portion. Remove the damaged section from the shaft.
Step 3: A portion of new roll material of correct dimensions can either be inserted where the damaged material was removed from, as shown, or can be added to the end of the roll with the two undamaged original portions pushed together.
Step 4: Finally, the roll with the new material is compacted, secured with the shaft's locking system, and the dressed to a smooth uniform finish. The roll can then be returned to service.
