Training
Welcome to our Training page. Below you will find four videos about Bridle Rolls, Non-Marking, Oiler and Self-Healing
Bridle Rolls
NCCM Mill Rolls generate 36 times better properties due to the porous material which avoids hydroplaning and allows physical contact with the metal strip. Rubber rolls can develop a layer of oil between roll and the coil, which can result in hydroplaning and slipping, not so with our rolls.
Non-Marking
Non-abrasive surface that can absorb debris and minimize damage to sheet.
Small Debris: Porous surface absorbs oxides, “smut”, etc…
Large Debris: Compressible surface reduces damage to sheet from embedded debris.
Oiler
With tight contact NCCM Mill Rolls meter and apply lubricants consistently and uniformly. Operators can remove excess protectant oils on incoming metal strip. This reduces oil usage and improves house keeping.
Self Healing
While NCCM Mill Rolls resist cuts and gouges and are self-healing, they still can be damaged by major irregularities in the strip surface. If serve damage occurs, the damaged portion of the roll can be removed from the shaft and repaired in 1 to 2 hours.
